Plasencia Cosecha 146, La Vega Robusto Gordo
Family owned and operated since 1865, Plasencia simply has a nearly unparalleled level of experience. In a business where even small choices can be the difference between a legendary stick and a dud, that kind of experience moves mountains. The Plasencia Cosecha 146 is a premium cigar that is almost certainly going to be remembered as one of the great ones. Crafted from the 146th crop harvested by the family, it is a medium to full-bodied cigar that is truly something to behold. The tobacco crops from both their Honduran and Nicaraguan farms were particularly exceptional and by blending them and matching it with a Honduran wrapper the Plasencia family truly crafted something wonderful. This all combines into a rich, creamy, smooth cigar that features almond and leather. Some notes of spice show up, and there is the hint of a floral taste throughout the stick. It is highly possible that Plasencia won’t harvest another crop this exceptional for a decade or more, which means this is a cigar you just can’t miss out on. Personally, you’re going to want to pick at least a single stick up for your collection, but we would recommend getting a box while supplies last. These will not be around for long, and there is a chance we may not see something as exceptional as this cigar for a long time.
